He began by referencing some events that have a huge amount of significance here.
For example he mentioned the nuclear power plants that were at risk of russian attacks in Ukraine and this refers to of course the Fukushima incident in 2011 where it was struck by earthquake and tsunami that led to a nuclear meltdown,
so this is a very sensitive topic in Japan now.
